Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply when you book garden maintenance or landscaping work with Aspen Rose.
Who we are
These terms apply whenever you book a visit, request a quote, or otherwise use the services of Aspen Rose ("we", "us", "our"), covering garden maintenance and landscaping across London and Hertfordshire.
By booking work with us, you agree to these terms. If anything here is unclear, contact us at info@aspenrose.co.uk or on 020 8050 3033 before confirming a booking.
Quotes and pricing
We provide free, no-obligation quotes based on what you tell us about your garden and what you'd like done. A quote may change if, once we're on site, the work turns out to be different from what was described — for example a garden that's more overgrown than expected, or ground conditions we couldn't see from a description alone. We'll always discuss this with you before carrying out any work beyond what was quoted.
Prices are confirmed before work begins, in writing (by email, text or WhatsApp) or verbally when a visit is agreed on the spot.
Booking, access and weather
Visits are arranged by mutual agreement. Please let us know about anything on site we should be aware of before we arrive — pets, uneven ground, fragile features, buried services (cables, pipes) or anything else that could affect the work or our team's safety.
Gardening and landscaping work is often weather-dependent. If a visit needs to be rescheduled because of weather or site conditions, we'll agree a new date with you as soon as possible.
If you need to cancel or move a booking, please give us as much notice as you can — the more notice, the easier it is for us to refill that slot.
Payment
Invoices are issued once a visit is completed, and are payable as set out on the invoice. If you have any query about an invoice, contact us before the due date and we'll sort it out together.
Insurance, waste and liability
We carry public liability insurance and are a licensed waste carrier, registered with the Environment Agency, so any green waste we remove is handled and disposed of properly and legally.
We take reasonable care on every visit, but gardening work (cutting, clearing, pruning, machinery use) carries some inherent risk to plants, soft landscaping and garden features. Please point out anything particularly valuable or fragile before work starts. We aren't responsible for damage caused by pre-existing issues with the garden (for example unstable structures, diseased trees, or buried services we weren't told about) that a reasonable visual inspection wouldn't have revealed.
This website
The text, photos and design on this website belong to Aspen Rose or are used with permission, and shouldn't be copied or reused without asking us first.
We try to keep this site accurate and up to date, but prices, availability and service details may change — the quote you're given directly is always what applies, not anything implied by the website alone.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example as our services change. The terms that applied when you booked a visit are the ones that govern that booking.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you have any questions, get in touch at info@aspenrose.co.uk.
