Privacy Policy

Last updated 1 October 2026. This policy explains what personal information Aspen Rose collects when you use this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Aspen Rose ("we", "us", "our") provides garden maintenance and landscaping services across London and Hertfordshire. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

You can contact us about anything in this policy by email at info@aspenrose.co.uk, by phone on 020 8050 3033, or by post at 1, 268 Green St, Enfield, EN3 7ND.

Information we collect

When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if given), the subject of your enquiry and your message. This form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot-detection check that does not use tracking cookies.

If you book a visit with us, we also hold the service address, the type of work booked, the date and time, and — once a job is complete — an invoice record of the amount due and whether it has been paid. We do not store your card details; any card payment is handled by a payment provider directly, not by this website.

If you submit a review on our testimonials page, we collect your name, your general area (e.g. "Palmers Green"), your rating and your written review. Submitted reviews are checked by a member of our team before they appear on the site.

When you browse the site, our hosting and security providers automatically log standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type, in the same way most websites do.

How we use your information

We use your information to respond to enquiries, arrange and carry out garden visits, send invoices, and keep a record of our relationship with you so we can provide a consistent service.

We rely on your consent when you choose to submit a form, on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business, and on our legal obligations (for example, keeping financial records for tax purposes) as the lawful bases for these uses.

We never sell your personal information, and we do not use it for any purpose beyond providing and improving our services to you.

Cookies & analytics

This site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Some are strictly necessary — for example, remembering your cookie choice — and are set regardless of consent. Others, such as Google Analytics (used to understand how visitors use the site) and Meta Pixel (used for advertising, where enabled), are only loaded once you accept them in our cookie banner, and nothing is tracked beforehand.

You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page, or by clearing your browser's cookies and local storage.

How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry details for up to 12 months if they don't turn into a booking or ongoing relationship, after which they're deleted. Spam or clearly irrelevant enquiries are removed much sooner, within 30 days.

For customers, we keep booking and invoice records for 6 years, in line with our legal obligation to retain financial records. A record with any booking history is never deleted automatically.

Technical logs such as rate-limiting and sign-in records are kept for a short period (30–90 days) for security purposes, and automatically cleared after that.

Sharing your information

We share personal information with a small number of service providers who help us run this website and our business: Supabase (our database and account security provider), Vercel (website hosting), Resend (sending booking and enquiry emails), and Cloudflare (spam/bot protection on our forms). Where you've consented to analytics or advertising cookies, Google and Meta also process limited technical data for that purpose.

Each of these providers only processes your information to provide their service to us, under their own data protection terms. We don't share your information with anyone else, and we never sell it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to ask us to delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to ask for it in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@aspenrose.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Children's privacy

This website is intended for adults arranging garden services, not for children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we start using a new service provider. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. If you have any questions about this policy, get in touch at info@aspenrose.co.uk.
